Payroc Launches ConsumerChoice Offering | PYMNTS.com
Payments company Payroc is rolling out a new choice offering for a card-not-present environment, allowing businesses to accept all card and ACH payment types at no cost.
According to a Monday (Feb. 7) press release, the offering, called ConsumerChoice, is a processing program that allows for the elimination of any payment processing costs for the merchant — in a card-present environment or otherwise.
Per the release, this will be provided through Payroc subsidiaries.
“We are excited to enhance Payroc’s ConsumerChoice program with some of the capabilities of ACHeck21 alongside our partners at FluidPay,” Evan O’Brien, vice president of enterprise sales at Payroc, said in the release.
“Payroc and ACHeck21’s unique platform will enable our sales distribution and ISV channels with a unified solution for Card and ACH payment processing,” O’Brien continued. “This includes all Card-Not-Present environments like invoicing, hosted payment pages and eCommerce transactions.”
Last month, PYMNTS wrote that Payroc recently bought East Commerce Solutions, a merchant service handling $2 billion in annual processing volume.
“East Commerce Solutions has always been a customer advocate first and foremost,” East Commerce Solutions founder Edward Medeiros said at the time. “I am excited to increase our product offerings with Payroc’s technology stack and international reach, which will provide the opportunity to drive future growth for both companies.”
Payroc CEO James Oberman praised the respect the other company had built up, and said the companies have a mutual goal that “people do business with people.”
Payroc also recently partnered with electronic pay processing firm Dynamic Solutions, which will see it expanding to Puerto Rico and allow for other expansions in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Based in Illinois, Payroc serves over 110,000 merchants in 40 countries with tasks such as underwriting and risk management, global device connectivity and application programming interfaces (APIs).
