Dinghy Dock in Culebra, Puerto Rico
The Dinghy Dock is a bar and restaurant in the town of Dewey, on the island of Culebra, Puerto Rico. It is a pleasant spot to visit for a drink or a meal. It gets it’s name from people driving dinghys over from boats that are moored nearby and docking, so they can eat, or fill up jugs with fresh water to bring back to their boats. There are many large tarpon (Zabalos) that hang around waiting for a free meal. Many are around four feet long and weighing about forty pounds I’m guessing. I was feeding them pieces of yuca fries that came with our meal.
