A World to Discover: The Hudson County Latino Foundation Aids Student Trip to Puerto Rico

Hoboken, New Jersey – Feb.1, 2022: The Hudson County Latino Foundation (HCLF) is delighted to announce a $1,000 scholarship donation to Hoboken Dual Language Charter School (HoLa) to help ensure the capstone HoLa Puerto Rico trip is accessible to all students, regardless of financial ability.

“In today’s interconnected world, it is essential to interact and experience the reality of different cultures and geographical regions,” says Vanessa Trinidad, HCLF’s Chairwoman.

“We share similar values with HoLa and are thrilled to be able to offer this opportunity to a local student.”

Traveling opens the mind to endless opportunities, knowledge, and experiences that aren’t necessarily available in a classroom.

“We are thankful for the generous donation from HCLF that makes it possible for all students to participate in this experience abroad later this year. We are incredibly proud to partner with HCLF and are grateful for all they do for the Hudson County community,” said Nicole Cammarota, President of HoLa’s Board of Trustees.

The Hudson County Latino Foundation proudly joins Hoboken Dual Language Charter School by providing unique opportunities for our community’s children to thrive.

The Hudson County Latino Foundation (HCLF) works to deliver unmatched services to communities in the areas of healthcare, education, and community development.
