Oppo is introducing ColorOS 15 on October 17 with – you guessed it – a focus on AI. And if you were wondering when the company’s next flagship smartphone line would be getting official, we now sort of have an answer.
According to Digital Chat Station over on Weibo, the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro could be unveiled as soon as October 21. Not sooner than that, it seems. But it’s reasonable to assume it could be later. Not much later, since Chinese companies are all competing with each other to launch new flagship products as soon as possible each year.
Oppo Find X7 Ultra
The Find X8 and Find X8 Pro will both use MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9400 chipset. They will be far from the only products to be unveiled at Oppo’s conference.
They will apparently be joined by the Oppo Pad 3 Pro, the Oppo Enco X3 true wireless earbuds, a new color for the Oppo Watch X, and an entire ecosystem of magnetic accessories – because the new smartphones will support magnetic wireless charging a la Apple’s MagSafe.
