WE’RE READY. THE SENIOR LEAGUE TOURNAMENT IS BACK AND EASILY AFTER BEING CANCELED BECAUSE OF COVID AND ORGANIZERS LOOK TO KICK THINGS OFF WITH A BANG AT FAN FEST. WE HAVE PEOPLE FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD COMING TO VISIT CANADA BROUGHT A LOUD CROWD OUT HERE TODAY. WE’RE SUPER EXCITED TO HAVE THEM AND ALL THE WAY FROM WE’VE GOT FAMILY FROM GUAM TOO. SO WE’VE GOT PEOPLE TRAVELING ALL OVER THE WORLD TO COME TO EASILY SOUTH CAROLINA TEAMS FROM VIRGINIA, NEW JERSEY HOUSTON AUSTRAL. A PUERTO RICO ITALY AND RIGHT HERE IN EASY SOUTH CAROLINA WILL BE JOINING. ARE SOME IT’S A DREAM COME TRUE THAT YEAR. I REMEMBER I WAS BEING A KID. I WAS LIKE, OH I WANTED TO PLAY AGAINST AUSTRALIA. LIKE I SAW HIM ON TV. NO CHANCE TO DO IT THOUSANDS ARE PLANNING TO TUNE IN FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD. BUT PLAYERS SAY THE STAGE ISN’T TOO BIG. ‘We’re ready’: Senior League World Series returns to Easley

“We’re ready, we’re ready, we’re very ready,” Puerto Rican player, WilJerry Santiago said.The Senior League World Series is back in Easley after being canceled because of COVID-19 and organizers looked to kicked things off with a bang at fanfest. “We have people all over the world coming to visit. Canada brought a loud crowd out here today. We’re super excited to have them. We also have families from Guam too. So we have people traveling from all over the world to Easley, South Carolina,” marketing director for Senior League Baseball Series, Janey Charles, said.Teams from Virginia, New Jersey, Houston, Australia, Puerto Rico, Italy, and right in Easley, South Carolina, will be joining.For some, it’s a dream come true. “I remember I was a kid and being like, I want to play against Australia. I saw it on TV. Now, it’s our chance to do it so,” Willaim Merrikn said.Thousands are planning to tune in from all over the world but players say the stage isn’t too big. “There’s a lot of people watching, but I’m just going to come out here and have fun and do the best I can and represent Guam,” Ricardo Leon Guerrero said. “I feel very excited. I’ve never done it, so it’s the first time. I can’t wait to play,” Santiago said.Either way, the goal is clear. “Making memories, winning and try to make the most of it,” Easley player Caleb Owens The tournament will be going on all next week, with the championship game scheduled for next Saturday.
